“タイヤ側面”-“エッジ”-“【タイアサイド】=”サイドウォール”の抉れ=えぐれ”-損傷!!
去る8月2日,水曜日。
会社は休暇だったので,
病院(クリニック)をまとめて3箇所診察。
凄く疲れて帰ってきたせいか,今駆動している
車で初めてタイヤのホイールを縁石で激しく擦ってしまいました。
それも自分の駐車場のすぐ傍というよりほとんど敷地内です!
お隣さんの悪口を言いたくはありませんが,
何度も借り主が変わっても壊れた石のスロープなどを含めて
無骨というか駐車場の"世話"に無頓着な方が多いのです。
他の方の場所も含めて
毎年夏になると除草剤を撒いたりしているのは
私くらいかも。
ひとのせいではなく今回は自分の過失な訳ですが,
慣れた駐車場なので,いつも鋭く左にハンドルを切ってから逆ハンドルで右に
切った後,バックで駐車するといういつものパターンだったつもりが,
今回初めて左に切ったハンドル操作があまりにも鋭角過ぎたようです。
"縁石"の"石のヤスリ"でしっかり
左前のタイヤを削ってしまいました!
嫌な音がしたので,
駐車してから見たところ,
案の定"やっちまった"でした。
近年は割と"セーフティードライバー"なので?w
車を何処かにぶつけるという事もほとんどありません。
まぁ,ホイールが削れたのは仕方ないにしても,
タイアの側面(専門語ではサイドウォールと呼びます)の
一部に"これちょっとやばくないか?!"という抉れている箇所がありました。
タイヤにとって重要な部分である"カーカス部"は露出していない様に見えましたが,
私は素人なのでその判断は正しくありません。
一瞬,頭にきてw,
お気に入り??!の接着剤で
傷を固めてやろうかと想像しましたが,
止めましたw。
任意の自動車保険はそれなりに高額な支払いをしています。けれども
これは,大事なひとは当分の間,
搭乗させられないな・・と思いました!
高速走行でのタイヤのバースト経験
・・・これはさすがに私の経験には
ないです。
私はタイヤのプロの専門家ではないのですが
自分の持っている知識だけで
タイヤの側面に関して少しお話させて下さい。
タイヤのサイドウォールは構造上、
タイヤ全体の部分と比較するとかなり薄いと思われます。
従って"外力"=衝撃にも弱い筈です。
"悪質"ないやがらせの犯罪で不特定多数の車を狙って"パンク"させる
犯罪が日本では時折起こりますが,つまりこの"薄い"部分を狙います。
サイドウォール部の傷は
安全を考慮すれば修理を拒否する
カーショップやディーラーが多いと思います。
"安全を保障できないので新品タイヤの交換を勧めます"というのは正しいと思います。
ゴム自体の経年劣化によるヒビについては
突然"バースト”するという事は考え難いものの,
補修するよりは"新品タイヤの交換"が勧められる筈です。
けれどもサイドウォールの傷の向きや傷の大きさ次第では
修理をしてくれるリペアショップも日本でもありますね。
主に"焼き付け修理"という傷=穴に新しい生ゴムを溶かして
その傷=穴にゴムを詰めて熱をかけて"一体化させようとする溶接のような修理方法"です。
しかしこの修理方法には特殊な治具が必要で修理できる傷の状態も限定され
その前に専門業者をまず探す必要があると思います。
カーショップやホームセンターなどには
"パンク修理剤"と並んで"修理キット"がたくさん売られていますが、
"サイドウォール"の傷に関しては素人が応急処置をするのはとても危険だと個人的には判断します。
今回のタイヤの傷に関しては,特に
高速走行はかなり注意が必要だなと個人的には判断しました。
結局,カーショップの方に所見して貰い,
1本買いをするか,まとめて4本買いするか,
今度の土曜日に車を診せに行く予定です!!
ちなみに私が履いているタイヤですが,
グッドイヤー製です。品名は"ベクター4シーズンズ"です。
このタイヤですが結構いいですよ!
今回タイヤの画像撮影して初めて見たのですが(3年もの間"この子"を
全然知らなかった)可愛い"スノーフレークマーク"がありました!!
この"雪の子供"(雪だるま)の絵はASTM(世界最大の民間非営利の国際標準化規格設定機関)の公式試験で、
極めて厳しい寒冷地でも十分な性能を発揮することを認証された絵=証=紋章です!w。
つまり日本でのチェーン規制のある道路でも
堂々とチェーン無しでストリートに入れるのです!
夏タイヤと冬用のスタッドレスタイヤの履き替えが面倒くさいと感じている方は是非検討する価値の
あるタイヤだと思います!(ちなみに私はグッドイヤーの営業マンでも何でもありませんw)
タイヤパターンが独特です。
私の駆動している車なんかコンパクトカー(DE5FS demio)に過ぎませんが,
195/50/R16を現在履いていますが,
後方車にはそれなりの威圧感?はあると思います?w。
タイヤの溝に填まっている石などを排出するセルフクリーニング性能もかなり優秀だと思います。
今の車はFF車ですが,キャンプ場などのぬかるんだ場所もそれなりにこなせます。
つまりこのタイヤは"泥遊び"もある程度出来るのです!w。
大雨,乾いた路面でも酷使しなければ,
それなりに良いフィーリングです。
普通のタイヤよりはやや高めの価格かも知れませんが,
装着して良かったと感じさせてくれるタイヤのひとつだと思います。
日本は"縁石"の非常に多い道路事情です。
ドライバーの皆さんもどうかお気を付けて!

追伸・・
現在稼動している車はFF車ですが,タイヤは既に3年経過しているので
結局,思い切ってカーショップで195/50/R16の同じタイヤを4本同時に購入しました!
グッドイヤーだけでなくミシェランも"CROSSCLIMATE SERIES"という
"オールシーズンタイヤ"を販売しています。ミシェランも履いてみたいタイヤ
ですが,16インチの扁平率50のモデルが無かった為,今回は断念しました!
担当のお姉さんに値引き交渉して,工賃含めて103,660円。
今回変わった保険で"パンク修理3年保証"というのにも加入してみたw。
近年,日本のカーショップでは"パンク保証"制度なるserviceが流行しているみたいです。

I must let me talk about the side wall of a tire a little only by
my knowledge though you are not a professional a specialist of the tire.
It seems that the “sidewall" of the tire is considerably thin compared with
the part of constructional and the entire tire.
Therefore, it must be weak also to "External force" = impact.
In a word, the crime to make "Blowout" aiming at many
and unspecified cars due to the crime of "Malignancy" aims at this
"It is thin" part in Japan though it sometimes happens.
I think the wound in the “sidewall" part for a lot of car shops
and dealers who refuse the repair to exist if safety is considered.
I think that "Because safety cannot be secured,
the exchange of new tires is recommended" is correct.
The repair "Exchange of new tires" is sure suddenly
to be recommended about the crack by the aging of rubber as for
" though it is not easy to think about the thing said then.

After all, it is opinion one is bought for the car shop or four is collectively bought
or it is scheduled to go to looking after in the car on this coming Saturday.
By the way, it is made in Goodyear though it is a tire that I am putting on.
The name of articles is "4 vector season's!!. "
It is considerably good though it is this tire.
There was lovely "Snow flakes mark" though it saw only after it took a picture
of the image of the tire this time (It did not know "This child" for three years at all).
The picture of this "Child of the snow" (snowman) is an official examination

the car that I am driving I think a moderate overpowering feeling
in a rear car to be though it is putting on 195/50/R16 now.
I think that the self cleaning performance that exhausts the stone etc.
that wait for in the flute of the tire is also considerably excellent.
As such, the "Muddy" place in the campground etc.
can be digested though a car today is a front wheel drive vehicle.
This tire is in a word good at "Mud play" to some degree. w....
It's a good as such feeling also in a heavy rain
and a dry road if it doesn't overwork.
I think that it is one of the tires that feel that you may attach it
though a usual tire might be a price of improving a little.
Japan is road conditions that "Curb" is very a lot of.
Drivers also take care please.

Postscript ‥
Because the tire had already passed three years,
same four tires of 195/50/R16 were boldly bought at the same time after all
in the car shop though the car being operated now was a front wheel drive vehicle.
Not only Goodyear but also the MICHELIN sells "All-year tire" "CROSSCLIMATE SERIES".
It abandoned it this time because there was no model of flat rate 50 of 16 inches though
it was a tire that wanted to put on the MICHELIN.
The discount negotiation is done to the young lady of charge,
pay is included, and 103,660 yen.
To join "Guarantee during ..repair.. three-blowout year"
by insurance that changed this time.
Recently, becoming it "Blowout guarantee" system service seems
to become popular in the car shop in Japan.
