昨年(2023年)の晴れ渡った平日の冬でしたが、
私は史跡"永福寺跡"を訪れました。
"永福寺"という漢字文字は日本人でも
発音を"EIFUKU-JI"と読むのが普通ですが、
正しくは"YOUFUKU-JI"と音読みします。

鎌倉幕府の初代将軍であり、
圧倒的なリーダーシップとカリスマ性で当時の貴族社会から
武家政権を確立した"源頼朝"が建立した寺院の跡です。
この場所は源義経(頼朝の弟)、
藤原泰衝等奥州攻め=奥州合戦(おうしゅうかっせん)で戦死した
多数の武将達の鎮魂のため、
中尊寺二階大堂などを模した"オマージュ"として建立され、
建久5年(1194)に三堂(3つの堂)が完成したとされています。

現在では発掘調査で発見された
建物の基壇(きだん)や苑池(えんち)などを復元し、
公開活用に向けた整備が終了したその範囲を公開しています。
面白いのは"永福寺跡"の鎌倉市と湘南工科大学の協働で
コンピューターグラフィックによる復元があることです。
(Android版とiOS版の専用アプリを起動させ
現地のAR看板にあるQRコードを読み取ると、
画面に永福寺の復元CGが立ち上がる仕組みです）

生まれも育ちも鎌倉の私が、
初めて訪れて感じたのは、
"えも言われぬ"不思議な時空を越えた！感覚でした。

武家社会を日本で初めて確立した
"源頼朝"と最愛の妻である北条"政子"。

その"ふたり"が静かに寄り添い、
現代よりもおそらく遙かに
ゆったりした日本語で語り合いながら、
この場所の土を踏みしめていた"事実"を実感すれば
どこかとても癒やされました。

源頼朝が征夷大将軍になった年に、
この"永福寺二階堂"が完成しました。

その建造物はすばらしく、
まるで"極楽"な様子であったとされています。
将軍家の人々をはじめとする何十人もの御家人たちが行列を組み、
三井寺から、偉いお坊さん(高僧)を招き祝ったとされています。
池の畔には桜や梅の木が植えられ美しい庭園が造られました。
季節ごとに蹴鞠や花見や雪見、
和歌を詠むなど、歴代の将軍たちは様々な遊びを楽しんだ様子です。
そして永福寺では数多くの法要が行われました。
併せて舞楽も行われ、法要が行われた日の境内は
きらびやかに彩られたことでしょう。
もしも時空を越えられるならば、
現代の私は彼等と一緒に宴を楽しみたいという思いよりも、
この艶やかなサロンの場の一角に隠れて"彼等”の様子を遠くから見れたら
どんなに素晴らしいだろうと妄想してしまいました。
その歌声や笑い声は、現代の日本語よりもずっと穏やかで
嫋(たお)やかで、きっとゆっくりとした口調であったに違いないでしょう。

正治元年(1199)の
正月13日 初代将軍頼朝が、53オで没したのちも、
"吾妻鏡"にはどこか"ほのぼの"とされる記述が遺されています。

うるう年月29日　頼家、釣殿(つりどの)で遊ぶ。

建暦元年(1211)
4月29日 実朝、時鳥(ほととぎす)の声を聞くために訪れるが聞けず
　　　　　　に空しく帰る。

建保(けんぽう) 2年(1214)
3月9日 実朝、永福寺で桜の花見。

建保5 年(1217)
12月25日 実朝、永福寺僧坊で終夜歌会を行う。

寛喜(かんぎ)元年(1229)
3月15日　頼経※1、花見。
※1）3代将軍であった源実朝が暗殺されたあとに朝廷から
"鎌倉殿"として鎌倉幕府における最大の権威者として迎えられた。

10月26日　頼経、蹴鞠(けまり)※2、歌会を行う。
※2)現代のサッカーのリフティングと同じプレイ！ｗ。

貞永(じょうえい)元年（1232）
11月29日 頼経、雪見、釣殿で歌会を行う。

そして3度目の"永福寺炎上"・・。
応永12年(1405)12月17日の午前10時頃に、
失火か"もらい火"かは不明です。

永福寺跡へのアクセス方法はJRの鉄道駅である
"鎌倉宮(かまくらぐう)=大塔宮(だいとうのみや)"行きバスを利用し
て終点"鎌倉宮=大塔宮"で下車。乗車時間は約8分。

その後は徒歩で5分程度にあります。
鎌倉駅から総てを徒歩でゆくと、
およそ30分程度とのことです。
(JR鎌倉駅の北東約1.8km=所在地：鎌倉市二階堂209）

私は"鎌倉宮"の側の自動車コインパーキングに車を止めてゆきました。
現在では誰もがみんな"モバイルデバイス"を所有しているので、行き先を指定すれば
道に迷うことは少ないと思われます。暫く歩くと"鎌倉宮カントリーテニスクラブ"
がありその脇の平坦な山道をすこしだけ歩けば、
史跡に辿り着くことができます。

レプリカの永福寺はきっとずっと建てられないことでしょう。
でも・・その方が良い！?・・
何故かそんな気持ちになる
不思議な遺跡でした。

Winter of weekday when last year(2023) cleared up.
I visited the historic site "Ruins of Yofuku-ji Temple".
Even the Japanese reads the Chinese character character "“Youfukujiato"" phonetically ,
saying that "YOUFUKU-JI" though it is usual to read,
"EIFUKU-JI" the pronunciation ..correct...
It is The first generation general of the Kamakura Shogunate,
and the mark in the buddhist temple that
"Yoritomo Minamoto" to establish the samurai political power
from patriciate at that time by an overwhelming lead and charisma built.

This place is built as "Hommage" to imitate the “Chusonji Temple Nikai Daido" etc.
because of a lot of requiems of military commanders at which it was killed
by the “Minamoto no Yoshitsune"=“bushi" (younger brother of the “Yoritomo") and Oshu
of the “Yasuhira Fujiwara" etc. attack = “Battle of Oshu",
and the Kenkyu era (1190.4.11-1199.4.27) has been assumed
to have completed three temples (three temples) to (1194) for five years.

The “podium"in the building discovered by the excavation investigation
and the “garden with a pond" etc. are restored now,
and the range where maintenance for the publication use ended has been opened to the public.

There is a restoration by computational graphic in the collaboration
of the “Shonan Institute of Technology"
with Kamakura City of "Ruins of Yofuku-ji Temple" the interesting one.
(It is a mechanism that restoration CG of the “Youfukujiato" stands up by starting a special application program
of the Android version and the iOS version on the screen when the QR code that exists in a local AR signboard is read. )
Having felt it because I in Kamakura visited for the first time exceeded
the time-space of mysterious "Ineffably" as for the birth and growth. It was a sense.

This "“Youfukujiato" Nikaido" was completed in year
when the Yoritomo Minamoto became Barbarian Subduing Generalissimo.

The building is assumed to be to be seeming like no "Paradise" wonderfully.
It is assumed that tens of person Gokenin (an immediate vassal )s including people
of the family of a general unite the procession,
and it invites and a great priest (high priest) was congratulated from the “Miidera Temple".
The tree of cherry blossoms and plum blossoms was planted
in the levee on the pond and a beautiful garden was made.
Generals of successive seem to have enjoyed various play as "kemari",
enjoying seeing cherry blossom, the “Snow viewing", and the Japanese poem were written at each season.

And, a lot of memorial services were done in the “Youfukujiato".
The Precinct on the day when the “Bugaku"(court dance) was also done,
and the memorial service was done was to have colored gorgeously.
If the appearance of "They" can be seen from a long distance
by hiding somewhere in the corner of the place of this glossy salon from
the desire that it wants to enjoy the feast with them ..me modern.. if the time-space is exceeded, ..delusion.. how it is wonderful. !!

The singing voice and laughter will be sure to have been surely slow
by “graceful" much calmer than modern Japanese, tones. ..

General's “Yoritomo" is done on the 13th in the New Year of “Sho-ji" first year (1199),
and the description assumed to be "Heartwarmingly" somewhere is done in
"Azuma mirror"(Azuma Kagami)" after it dies at the age of 53..

“Sho-ji".(1200) two years..
It plays by the “Yoriie" on the 29th and the “Tturidono" in the leap year moon.

“Juntoku" first year (1211)
It is not possible to hear and it returns emptily though it visits to hear the voice of the “Sanetomo" on the 29th and the “Cuculus poliocephalus" in April.

“Ken-pow" 2years (1214)
It's a “Sanetomo" it on the ninth, a “Youfukujiato" in March, and enjoying seeing cherry blossom of cherry blossoms.

“Ken-pow".. five years(1217)
The “Sanetomo" and the “Youfukujiato" “Soubou"(priests' temple quarters) do an all-night “Uta-kai"(Song party) on December 25.

“Kangi" first year (1229) “Yorisune" on the 15th and enjoying seeing cherry blossom in March.
“Yorisune" ※1, "kemari"※2, and the “Uta-kai"(Song party) are done on October 26.
※1）After it had been assassinated for the Sanetomo Minamoto that was three Brigadier General army,
it was received from the court as the maximum authority in the Kamakura Shogunate.
※2)The same play as lifting of modern soccer！！ｗ

“Jow-ei" first year (1232)
The “Yoritune", the “Snow viewing", and the “Tturidono" do the “Uta-kai"(Song party) on November 29.

And, "“Youfukujiato" blazing up"of the third times.
Accidental fire or "Arson(Catching fire)" is unclear around 10:00AM,
the (1405) December 17, 12 years the “Oh-ei".

The access method to Ruins of Yofuku-ji Temple gets off by the terminal
"Kamakuraguu" = Daitono miya" by using "Kamakuraguu" = Daitono miya"
taking bus that is the train station of JR.

The getting on time is about eight minutes.
It is on foot at about five minutes afterwards.
I hear that it was about ..going.. 30 minutes all walk from Kamakura Station.
(northeast about 1.8km= address at JR Kamakura Station: Kamakura City Nikaido 209)

I pulled up a car to the car coin parking on the side of "Kamakura Imperial prince".
Because everyone is owning "Mobile device" now,
it seems that it is few to lose way if the destination is specified.
There is "Kamakura Imperial prince country Tennis Club"
when walking for a while and it can reach the historic site at last
if only a little walking on the smooth sideward mountain path.

The “Youfukujiato" of the replica is not to be built for a long time surely.
However ‥ That is a good. !!?
‥ It was mysterious ruins that became such feelings why.
