鎌倉生まれの私にとって、
若い頃はお寺に金(拝観料)を払うなんて
ナンセンスだ！と思っておりましたが、
年齢を重ねると考え方が
真逆になったりするものです！

10月の晴れた金曜日。
私はおよそ30年ぶりに
鎌倉の建長寺(Kenchoj)の境内に入りました。

記憶というものはとても曖昧です。

建長寺の境内は鬱蒼とした大木が
聳え立ち、杜の空気の湿度は高く、
自然の土を長い時間、
踏み歩き続けていたように
記憶していましたが、
事実は全く違っていました！

建長寺の境内の道程は、
"掃き清められている"といっても
過言ではありませんでした！

建長寺は日本に存在する
禅寺の中で最も古い寺として有名です。

そして現代でも
極めて厳しい"禅"の専修的な修行の場として
あまりにも有名な道場です。

その日は偶然にも
"金曜日"であったので
一般人も座禅が行える日でした！

建長寺もそうですが、
鎌倉の寺院に多いのが、
境内(敷地)が曖昧になっている点です。
本当は住居表示は正確なのでしょうが、
隣の鎌倉学園(桑田佳祐が在籍
していたことはあまりにも有名）
とお寺の境界がよく分かりませんｗ。
鎌倉のお寺のユニークな点です。

畳の間(座敷)の写真は
私が撮影したものでは
ありませんが、この場所で多くの方が
座禅を行っていました！

撮影禁止、会話も一切禁止の場所でした。
境内で笑ってお喋りしながらフォトや動画
を撮影していた中南米の方と思われる
カップルも、一切口を閉ざして座禅を
行っている人達を観ておりました！

境内は凜とし、
掃除が行き届き
どこか襟を正してくれるような、
そんなとても清々しい気持ちになれました。

実は建長寺はかつて、
地獄谷と呼ばれた処刑場跡に建てられた寺で、
建長寺が建立されるまでは、
その鎮魂のための寺があったとされています。

裏手の山々は現代では
"鎌倉アルプス"と称されています。

そのハイキングコースの中にある、
"十王岩(じゅうおういわ)の磨崖仏(まだいぶつ)"は
処刑された者達の供養塔として造られたとされています。
※磨崖仏（まがいぶつ）とは石仏の一種で、
自然の岩壁や露岩、あるいは転石に造立された仏像のことです。

夜毎に不気味な音を立てていたことから、
"喚き十王"(わめきじゅうおう)とも呼ばれ続けてきました。
※鎌倉には"泣き塔"("宝篋印塔")を含め、
そのような霊的なオーラの言い伝えのある文化財があります。

今回の建長寺の訪問に関しては、
個人的に検証したい理由がありました。

つまり先述した鎌倉アルプスと称されている
1番有名なハイキングコースへのアクセス方法
(天園ハイキングコースへ辿り着く道程)
を実際に"偵察"(体感)することでした。

1番有名なアクセス方法として建長寺の一番奥の
半僧坊(はんそうぼう)からのアクセスがあるのです。

実はこの半僧坊までの石段が猛烈にきつかった。
さらに半僧坊から天園(てんえん)ハイキングコース開始始点の
勝上献(しょうじょうけん)展望台までが辛辣でした。
有識者の方々の殆どが述べていた通り、相当に厳しい"険道"でした！ｗ。
高齢者の方の踏破はかなり危険でしょう。

私より先にアメリカン女性の一人旅なのか、
先発でそのコースを登って行かれるのを目撃しました。

健脚な方で、あっという間に姿が見えなく
なりましたが、私が多くの階段を登っている最中、
帰路途中の"彼女"が階段で
座っている(休憩している)ことに遭遇しました。

大袈裟なジェスチャーで私が両手で
困ったように？過剰な表現をしたら？
かなり笑ってくれましたｗ。

もっと不思議なカップルにも遭遇しました。

"彼女"はおそらく韓国人女性と思いましたが、
ラフな軽装で白いワンピース姿。
"彼"は全体的に黒っぽい服装でしたが、驚いたのは
その険しい階段をもの凄い早さで
"白と黒のカップル"が登ってゆくのです。

"彼女"の足下を見るとなんとサンダル！！
天園(てんえん)ハイキングコース開始始点の
勝上献(しょうじょうけん)展望台でもそのカップルに
出くわしましたが、その直後に
あっという間に降りて行ってしまった！！
幽霊に出会った様な？心境になりましたね！ｗ。

私の建長寺の訪問の主目的は
天園(てんえん)ハイキングコースへのアクセス方法でした。
現在の私は、寺院や神社よりも中世の古い古墳(やぐら）
にとても興味があります。

天園ハイキングコースには、
有名なやぐら群が幾つかあります。

百八(ひゃくはち)やぐら、
北条首やぐら、
主垂木（しゅだるき）やぐら、
奥津城（のはず）やぐらなどです。
奥津城(のはず)とは"墓"のことです。
"やぐら"とは中世の鎌倉の武士の墓所です。

鎌倉滅亡の際、
主君であった、
北条高時の首を
敵勢力(新田軍)に渡すまいと葬った
"北条首やぐら"。

日を改めてハイキングコースには潜入するつもりでいます。

It is what the idea becomes the opposite truth it when the age is piled up though thought
that it is nonsense to pay the temple money (admission fees) when it is young for me of the Kamakura birth.

Friday when October cleared up.
I entered after an interval of about 30 years within
the enclosure of Kencho-ji Temple (Kenchoj) in Kamakura.

The memory is very vague.
It is high the fact was quite different at long
..soil of nature.. time it though it had been memorized
that it stepped and it had kept walking the soar of a dense gigantic tree
and standing by precincts in Kencho-ji Temple, and. the humidity of the air of the grove

The distance in precincts in Kencho-ji Temple was not the exaggerations though said, "It gave a good sweep".

Kencho-ji Temple is famous as the oldest temple in the temple of the zen sect that exists in Japan.

And, the present age is a too famous as a place for specially learned training of extremely severe "Zen" gym.

A lot of one that is is the points in the buddhist temple in Kamakura where precincts (site) are vague though Kencho-ji Temple is also so.
In reality not to understand the boundary of the next Kamakura educational institution
(It is too famous that the Keisuke Kuwata="It's a famous musician in Japan" attended school)
and the temple well though the dwelling display is accurate... “LOL"...
It is a unique point in the temple in Kamakura.

Because the day was "Friday" by chance,
it was a day when the general successor was able also to do Zen meditation.

Many people were doing Zen meditation in this place though
the photograph between mats (room) was not what I took.

The taking a picture prohibition and the conversation were places of all the prohibitions.
People who also sealed one's lips all also by the couple
who seemed that Latin America that took a picture of the photo
and animation laughing in precincts while chatting it and were doing Zen meditation were seen.
Precincts were able to be dignified, the cleaning to be complete, and to become "Shape UP" somewhere and such very fresh feelings.

Kencho-ji Temple is actually assumed for the temple for the repose of soul to have existed until Kencho-ji Temple
is built in the temple built in the execution ground mark that was called "“Jigokudani"(Valley of hell)" before.

Mountains in the back are called "Kamakura the Alps" in modern days.

"“Madaibutu"(Buddha statue) of Mt. Juo-iwa" that is on the way of the hiking trail is assumed making as memorial service towers of the executed people.

※The"Madaibutu"(Buddha statue) is a buddhist image erected by a kind of the stone image by the rock wall of nature and the rock or the rolling stone that exposed it.

It has been continued to be called, "“Wameki-Jyuo"(ten kings calling)" from making an eerie sound every night.

※There is a cultural asset with the legend of such a spiritual aura
in Kamakura including "Naki-to" ("Hokyoin Tower"=stone pagoda").
There was a reason to be verified personally for the visit to this Kencho-ji Temple.

Access method to the first famous hiking trail called Kamakura Alps where had been done
in a word ahead (distance that reached Heaven garden (ten-en) hiking trail at last) was "Scout" (experience) actually
There is access from the “Hansobou" in the interior most as the first famous access method about Kencho-ji Temple.

Stone steps to this Hanso-bo Temple were severely tight actually.
"“Sho-jo-ken"" observatory in the Heaven garden (ten;en) hiking trail beginning starting point from Hanso-bo Temple was more cutting.
It was considerably severe as having described almost of specialists "Steep road" The “LOL"....

The “traversed" in the senior citizen might be considerably dangerous.
Was it American woman's solitary journey earlier than
I or it was witnessed that the course was climbed by the forerunner.
I encountered especially ..sitting of "She" on the way on one's way back (Take a rest)
on the stairs at the time of climbing it.. though
the appearance with surprising swiftness disappeared by ..good walker.. a lot of stairs...
In both hands at which it considerably laughed. express excessive ..the embarrassment.. I in an exaggerated gesture..."LOL"...

It encountered a more mysterious couple.
A white dress appearance of ..“rough".. lightly dressed though it thought "She" to be a South Korean woman.
"He" was the overall black clothes. Such "White, black couple" climbs the steep stairs early terrible.
When one's feet of "She" was seen, sandals were very surprised.
The “Sho-jo-ken" in the Heaven garden (ten;en) hiking trail beginning starting point)
It has gotten off with surprising swiftness also
at the observatory immediately after that though it encountered the couple.
It became ? frame of mind that met the ghost. ..LOL..

A main purpose of the visit to my Kencho-ji Temple was an access method to
the Heaven garden (ten;en) hiking trail.

I present am very interested from the buddhist temple
and the Shinto shrine to an old old tomb of the Middle Ages ("a turre"=YAGURA).
In the Heaven garden (ten;en) hiking trail, there are some the famous “a turre"=YAGURA groups.
It is a “Hyaku-hachi" “a turre"=YAGURA, Hojo Kubi-yagura Turret,
a main rafter “a turre"=YAGURA, and a “Nohazu" “a turre"=YAGURA, etc.
The “Nohazu" is "Grave. "
"a turre"=YAGURA" is a grave yard of the samurai in Kamakura of the Middle Ages.
"Hojo Kubi-yagura Turret" buried if neck at Kamakura ruin,
and hojyo high time who is lord will not be passed to enemy power (Nitta army)

I will sneak into the hiking trail renewing the day. ,,
