野田サトルによる日本の漫画です。

いつの間に"完結"していたんですね！
"オトナ買い！"ではなくて友人から
"オトナ借り!"でした。

久しぶりに
大きな夢を見させて貰いました!
一言でいって"Amazing"!!

全314話。全31巻。
タイトルの「ゴールデンカムイ」とは、
英語(Golden)とアイヌ語(kamuy)を合わせた造語とされています。

男性も女性も不屈不撓(ふとうふくつ)の
精神をもった人物達が描かれてています！

換言するならば、
どんな困難に遭っても挫けない人々が
描写されてゆく。

このmangaは私にとって、
ひとつの"シェイクスピア"であると
いっても過言ではありません。

シェイクスピアの文学の凄さは
徹底した人間の劇的な
心理描写にありました。

シェイクスピアの偉業は、
鋭い人間観察によって、
人間の内面性、
特に苦悩や葛藤といった感情を
完璧に深く表現した点にあり、
登場人物の"誰か"に読者は必ずといって良い程
感化され、感情を揺さぶられることにあります。

この"ゴールデンカムイ"もまた、
多重で、幾層にも跨ぐ多くの人間の劇的な
登場に依る交差(接点)が根底(核心)にありました。

そうした多くの人物達の中で、読者にとっては
心がシンクロナイズする登場人物が現れてくるのです。

漫画といいう手法であるが故に
"絵"は好き嫌いの分かれることは多いですが、
生きるか死ぬか、人間と自然との命懸けの戦い、
先人達の偉大な生きるための知恵、男と女、そして
男達の純粋なる野望と友情を描くその"画力"の凄さは
女性読者さえ巻き込んで多くの読者に訴え、
圧倒しました。

内容に触れてしまい恐縮ですが、
多くの登場人物が命を落としてゆきます。

"土方歳三"や"牛山"
(実在していた伝説の"柔道家"にそっくり！)、そして
"鶴見"の最期は私にとって哀しすぎた。

土方も鶴見も
あまりにも重すぎる程の
"盟友達の多くの魂"を
背中に抱え続けていたのは特徴的です。

不死身の杉元や白石、
何よりもアシリパ(Asirpa)が最後まで
元気でいることは信じていたけれども、、
多くの犠牲を超えた後に彼等の未来があった。

作品のメインは明治末期の
日露戦争終結直後の北海道の樺太を舞台とした、
幻の金塊をめぐるサバイバル・バトル漫画。

その中で戊辰戦争、日露戦争、ロシア革命などの
歴史的な要素のほか、
狩猟やグルメ、アイヌなどの
民俗文化の要素も併せ持った。
さらにはギャグや映画のオマージュ、
ホラー的な要素も盛り込まれ、キャラクターの
"変態"％(度数)も半端ではありませんｗ。

美少女であるアシリパ(Asirpa)や
杉元や白石が、
ことあるごとに変な顔をするのも
癒やされて、楽しみとなったｗ。

日本が世界に誇る、漫画の中でも
群を抜いた、シェイクスピア的作品が
また一作品誕生しました。
今後も世界中で翻訳され
著名な作品のひとつとなってゆくのでしょう。

また、同作品のアニメ化の
メイン制作スタッフの突然の死去に依る放送延期は
必ず故人の"志"を継承する為にも完結して欲しいところです。

来年の1月には実写化も決定されています。

詳細は不明ですが、不死身の杉元を山崎賢人が演じ、
ヒロインであるアシリバは女優、山田杏奈。
"彼女"の静止画像においては、私のアシリバ像に
かなり近い！！ｗ

その他のメインキャスティングは大物俳優ばかりです!!

to the man and the woman.
