"ホースバンド"と呼ばれる部品です。
商品は英国のJCS社製で世界屈指です。
私はあえて導通性能の高い亜鉛メッキを採用した商品を選択しました。
そこまでは良かったんです・・

運送ドライバーから受け取った段ボール箱のサイズで
嫌な予感は"確信"に変わりました!

""ヤバイ""・・・

オーダーした部品は配管用(ある意味は当たってはいます)では
なくて自動車の"エキゾーストマニホールド・アース・チューニング"
の為に購入した部品だったのです。

酷使している
自家用車の他社製のマフラーの管の各部の"円周"を
実測してからのオーダーでした。

完璧に"落とし穴"が待っていましたよ！！

数学というよりも小学生の算数が苦手な輩の私。
さらに建築分野は完全に"無知"です。

頭の中は100%、
各煙管のマフラーの外周(円周)のみが支配していました！

さらに不味いことに、マフラーのイラスト図のφに
円周を記述してしまい外周はついに
直径の長さになってしまったのです。

配管部材の説明の"mm"とはつまり、
φ(ファイ=まる)=直径を意味しているのでした！！

私の頭の中は全部、外周！！！！

"直径"を"外周の長さ"で部品をオーダー！！

"キター"！！

巨大な配管部品！！

販売店さんは、
私のオーダーに
対して"完璧"な部品を送ってくれました！！

円周と直径とでは大違いです！！
"大間違い"を私は冒しました！！！

"デカイ"！！・・巨大だ！！

直径が30センチの自動車のマフラー！！

そんな自動車="モンスター"は、
見たことも聞いたこともないです。

何かに利用できないものか・・
暫く考えました。

よし!！どこかの男子（少年)に
"輪投げ"練習用として捧げようではないか!！

すぐに妄想は却下。

こんな代物を少年にプレゼントしたら
その子の親に激怒されるでしょうね。

正確で精密で計画通りの
配管部材をゲットしました。
